## Summary

Der Papageitaucher (Fratercula arctica) – auch Papageientaucher oder Puffin genannt – ist eine Vogelart aus der Familie der Alkenvögel (Alcidae). Die Art brütet in Erdhöhlen an und auf Klippen oder an deren Fuß im Nordatlantik sowie im westlichen Nordpolarmeer. Aufgrund der gebietsweise stark schrumpfenden Populationen stuft die IUCN den Papageitaucher seit 2015 als Vulnerable (gefährdet) ein.
