Die Pünktchenente (Spatula hottentota, Syn.: Anas hottentota, Punanetta hottentota), früher als Hottentottenente bezeichnet, ist ein afrikanischer Entenvogel, der zu den Schwimmenten gerechnet wird. Die auf Madagaskar vorkommenden Populationen wurden lange Zeit als separate Unterart angesehen, aber diese Unterscheidung ist heute nicht mehr gebräuchlich.
