Die Elsterscharbe (Phalacrocorax varius) ist eine Vogelart aus der Gattung Phalacrocorax innerhalb der Familie der Kormorane. Die  Art besiedelt die Küsten  und größere Gewässer im Inland Australiens und Neuseelands. Sie  brütet in Kolonien und ernährt sich vorwiegend von Fischen.
