## Summary

Die Fächertaube (Goura victoria), auch Victoria-Krontaube genannt, ist eine Vogelart aus der Familie der Tauben (Columbidae). Sie zählt zu den Krontauben und weist eine sehr hohe Ähnlichkeit zu anderen Krontaubenarten auf, der Krontaube, der Rotbrust-Krontaube und der Sclaters Rotbrust-Krontaube.
Fächertauben wurden bereits 1848 im Zoo von London gezeigt. Zahlreiche zoologische Gärten pflegen heute Fächertauben in ihren Tropenhallen, europäische Zoos bemühen sich in einem Erhaltungszuchtprogramm um den Fortbestand der Art, die von der IUCN als near threatened – potentiell gefährdet eingestuft wird.
