## Summary

Der Runzelhornvogel (Rhabdotorrhinus corrugatus) ist ein mittelgroßer Vertreter der Nashornvögel (Bucerotidae). Er brütet in Malaysia, Indonesien, Thailand und Brunei. Wie alle Nashornvogelarten ist der Runzelhornvogel ein Höhlenbrüter. Das Weibchen mauert sich bis auf einen schmalen Spalt in einer natürlichen Baumhöhle während der Fortpflanzungszeit ein. Das Männchen versorgt sie und später die Jungvögel mit Nahrung.
Die Bestandssituation des Runzelhornvogels wurde 2018 in der Roten Liste gefährdeter Arten der IUCN als „Endangered (EN)“ = „stark gefährdet“ eingestuft.
